What data we collect

Contact form: when you submit the contact form on this Site, we collect your first name, last name, email address, subject line, and message.

Language preference: we set a cookie to remember which language you're browsing the Site in. This cookie stores only a language code (e.g. "en", "pl") and nothing else.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not collect payment or financial information through this Site.

Why we process this data

We use the information you submit through the contact form solely to respond to your inquiry, evaluate a potential engagement, and communicate with you about it.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent (given by submitting the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries addressed to us.

The language-preference cookie is processed on the basis of it being strictly necessary for the Site to function as you expect.

How long we keep it

We retain contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your inquiry and any resulting business relationship, and thereafter only as required to meet legal, accounting, or contractual obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Who we share it with

Form processing: contact form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, our hosting and forms provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf.

Embedded map: the office location map on our Contact page is provided directly by Google Maps. Loading that map may allow Google to process your IP address and set its own cookies, under Google's own privacy policy — independent of this Site.

Messaging apps: the WhatsApp, Telegram, and Signal links on our Contact page take you to those platforms directly. Once you leave athron.eu, that platform's own privacy policy applies, not this one.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

International data transfers

Some of the service providers above (including Netlify and Google) may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, it takes place under the safeguards those providers make available (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email info@athron.eu.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data submitted to us, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
